Joining the Clan Society

If you, your family or friends world-wide are interested in the study and celebration of the descent of Fitzpatrick - Mac Giolla Phádraig, Rí Osraidhí (King of Ossory), in Ireland, then you might be interested in participating in the Clan Society.

The Fitzpatrick - Mac Giolla Phádraig Clan Society is the official body for this clan, registered with the CLANS of IRELAND Office. The aims of the Society are:

1. To establish, record, promote and preserve the Fitzpatrick - Mac Giolla Phádraig Clan culture, tradition, heritage and history.
2. To identify The Giolla Phádraig, Chief of his name, Rí Osraidhí.
3. To provide a focus for communicating Fitzpatrick - Mac Giolla Phádraig information world-wide.
4. To engage in the research and publication of matters relating to the culture, tradition, heritage and history of the Fitzpatrick - Mac Giolla Phádraig Clan.
5. To publish and distribute Clan ensigns, arms, flags, banners, posters, genealogy charts, reports, books and journals of interest to the Clan.
6. To maintain a genealogical register of all people claiming Fitzpatrick ancestry world-wide.
7. To liaise with National and Local Authorities and other bodies in matters of interest to the Clan.
8. To organise, operate and promote Clan gatherings in Ireland and to promote and assist Fitzpatrick - Mac Giolla Phádraig Clan gatherings elsewhere.
9. To raise funds for the advancement of these Aims of the Fitzpatrick - Mac Giolla Phádraig Clan Society.
